We’re excited to hear from Mary Kate Cunningham, CAE, Senior Vice President, Public Policy, ASAE with a virtual presentation on Associations at Risk: Impact of Tax Reform in 2025.

Mary Kate Cunningham, CAE is an award-winning lobbyist who serves as the Senior Vice President of Public Policy at ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. Mary Kate serves as the chief advocate for ASAE’s more than 50,000 members before Congress and policy stakeholders. She has grown an effective, results-oriented advocacy team; garnered bipartisan support for association issues on the Hill; and expanded ASAE’s grassroots network.

Throughout her ten years in ASAE leadership, Mary Kate has reinforced associations’ unique spot at the intersection of U.S. economy and public service by spearheading workforce development initiatives to benefit both American workers and the American economy.

She was recognized by The Hill and by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics as a 2023 and 2021 Top Lobbyist.

Originally from Arizona, she earned an M.A. from the National Defense University and a B.A. from The Catholic University of America. She is a Certified Association Executive and serves as an officer on the board of directors for the Tax Coalition. She is a member of the ASAE Retirement Trust Committee.
